I've been looking on Autotrader for a pickup. I'm wondering what other sites you'd recommend looking at. I've been looking around Dallas, since we have some friends who live down there. Thanks
I wanted to buy my pre-owned Ram from a Dodge dealer, so I went to dodge.com and used their "Find a Dealer" tool. Just enter any ZIP code and it will list all of the Dodge dealers in that area. Then open each dealer's web page and search their Pre-Owned Inventory page. This worked out great for me and I found exactly the truck I wanted.
You could also try searching www.craigslist.com which has free classified ads from around the country.
if you haven't allready tried it, go to your search box and type in the full year that you want then dodge for sale, ex. "1997 dodge for sale" you never know what'll pop up.
You might also put a post here what your looking for , I thought I saw a 1st gen. a day or two ago for 3,600 St. Paul , not to far to go , if you posted what your looling for then when we browse the papers I'ld take notes , sounds like a good sub catigory for Payit forword or classifides.
try www.findcars.com once... . based out of Rochester MN. Or if you want to drive up to northeast Iowa I have a few friends here that have Texas trucks for sale that are super clean and priced right.
What I'm looking for is a 4x4, long bed, reg. or ex. cab, manual transmission truck. I'd prefer a 24 valve HO, but would take a look at an older one. I prefer a stock or pretty close to, Doesn't have to be showroom quality, but don't want a piece of junk. Whatever I buy is going to be used as a truck should.
That's a real nice looking pickup! Sorry you have to get rid of it, but you're probably better off in the long run, as a new house would appreciate in value. I couldn't afford it, and even if I could, I'd get in trouble with that thing :-laf
