Your truck has an HY35 turbo with a 9cm2 exhaust housing. I wouldnt think going to a larger housing would help you with this turbo. I'm not even sure if there is another housing besides the 9 for our HY trucks.
Keep in mind that going to a larger exhaust housing, especially with 3. 54s, is going to increase your turbo lag which will make your truck slower off the line and increase the amount of unburned fuel, smoke, that will eminate at low rpm/low boost acceration.
Assuming that your signature is correct, I would recommend leaving the housing alone. For the most part, all that is accomplished by changing housings and turbos is the ability to bring EGT's to a managable level. If you have some $$ burning a hole in your ashtray, pick up an EZ or COMP or UFM. What ever brand you choose is up to you but thats a great way to look like this IMHO, the larger housing/turbo will be needed once you go up to some bigger injectors. Do some reading and you can save yourself alot of $$$ by not reinventing the preverbial wheel. Good luck and Happy bombing.
If your staying stock, leave it alone, even if you run an EZ,and/or dd2's the EGTS will be fine towing as long as you turnbuckle the wastegate and run a free flow air filter.
The reason I was asking was I may have happened on one. For future bombing..... why not get it now and it'll be here if and when I need it. I still need to get gauges first... .
