Off Roading Skid Plate?

Does anyone know where I can get a good skid plate to cover my big, vulnerable fuel tank?

I found a large gouge in mine after my last off road trip.

I cant find one anyplace, I guess nobody drives these off road?

Best bet is probably to have one fabricated at a welding and steel manufacturing shop.

I have a T-case skid plate that will take care of the Front of the tank if you want it Duluth Diesel. It's not going to go back on mine..... the worse mine will ever see is some mud, that you already went though!

I don't think anybody makes one. I fabbed a rear bumper and a couple of oher things this summer with a friend and a fuel tank skid was on my list. We never got around to it as it was going to take a lot of time to do properly. There's not a lot to anchor to and you would have to either make some complex bracketry or an entire subframe for the plate. I hope to get to it sometime as my tank has a big dent on the bottom in the front.
