Wheel well heights:

Front: 39. 5"

Rear: 42"

I checked the tape twice. Rick, your setup doesn't seem to show as great a difference as mine, front to back. Wondering what may account for the difference?

dont go my route

Dont go this route, I installed JC Whitney factory replacement rear springs 3250# capacity and add a leaf to the front springs. Front height 38" rear height 39". Some arch to the rear, but none to the front. My front springs are now straight instead of bowing down. I should have and soon will have to, pay twice, and get the skyjacker 1 or 2. 5 inch kit like you guys are talking about. Bill

Ordered spings

I ordered the 1" Skyjackers w/bushings. Said it would be 7-10 days from 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers. Price was $136 per side. The 2. 5" springs are $116 per side. Is it true they will come with a 1/2" bolt in the front and rear bushings or will it be like stock with 1/2" in the rear and 9/16" in the front? The guy I ordered from wasn't sure.

Pat,

I've changed the rear springs on mine also. i took out the blocks and used Skyjacker 6" soft-rides, they might sit an inch lower than stock.

Those pictures i took as i was getting ready to put the camper back on, so even the tail gate is off.

i also took pictures with the camper on for a load comparison.

For those who are worried about the 2 1/2 " lift dropping a shaft here is a couple of pics with the truck pretty twisted and i've never come close to binding of pulling the yoke apart.

You can tell these pics were taken a few years apart .....
