Hey guys

I've got a stock 2500 4x4. Looking for a very slight lift also I am putting a heavy reunel bumper and 9. 5ti winch so i want some more beef in the front end. I was looking at the Skyjacker Class 2 kit. Its 2-2. 5 lift, dual shocks, new beefier springs, new upper and lower links, polyurathane bumpstops, rear add-a-leaf and a few other things needed. However, you can get the hiem joints, do i need those for daily driving ? I bet the ride is a little rougher. Anyone got pics with this kit on their truck? Any comments of the quality and the ride? Any steering problems arise from it?

Ive gots the sj d25 leveling kit on my rig, I also attended the festival in the foothills event, how couldnt I not go to a 1st annual spectacular event, made Hunter dodge look like a back yard BBQ :p

Hey-

Nice looking truck... I cant remember if i saw it. Anyways, you didnt opt for the dual shocks?

hows the ride? Are the springs beefed out?

erik

The ride is smoother

Eric,

I have the Skyjacker kit with the rear leafs. The truck rides much smoother. You don't need the heim joints imo. If you tow or carry a cabover, you will need airbags in the rear because the rear leafs have much more travel due to dumping the factory lift blocks. Get the Blistein shocks and forget the Skyjacker shocks.

Nice Truck Dane...

Yes those Skyjacker shocks are junk. I was going for the urathane with Bilsteins or Ranchos??

I'm also going to run the Add-a-leaf in the rear since I dont want to waste the money on new springs since mine are fine... Do you notice any steering problems after adding the lift like adverse drifting???

Erik

Where can i find the best deals on lift kits?

best price i found was 600 for the class 2 kit 2. 5inch skyjacker, that was with 20 percent off at 4 wheel parts
