Skyjacker 4.5" 911

Anyone running the SJ 4. 5" lift with replacement rear springs.....



Did you use the stock blocks with the new springs??



I just let my truck off the jack stands and it's lower than stock. I thought one of the main benefits of the replacement springs was to eliminate the blocks and 'axle wrap'??

When I installed my SJ 4. 5 class 2 my ass end was about 3" lower than the front. I have a Reading steel cap w/ tools and it is close to 2000# so I assumed it was cause the extra weight. Took it to a local spring shop and had the Skyjackers springs rearched and added 2 more leafs. So counting my overload springs I now have 9 leaf springs in the back. Figure I have the payload capacity of a 3500 now. Good luck

You'll be right on track once you put the blocks back in. I hope you didn't already cut the u-bolts.

Yup, that was it! Got her out of the shop today. I'm a big fan of the new ride and look.
