Hey guys,

I bought 315 BFG Muds and they wont fit on my truck. anyways, im thinking of going to the 4. 5 inch lift. With some good soft bilsteins, how harsh is the ride from stock? Is there any rubbing AT ALL with a 315/12/16's on weld wheels? How many inches did you realistically gain from the tires and lift?

anyways, i would like to add a DSS steering staibilizer to my truck, will that work with the lift?

Thanks, any extra info will help. The D1ck Cepek is too high of a lift for my tastes, longer arms look better for the ride... .

Also, does anyone notice this lift kit make the truck feel like it is all over the road at highway speeds. Had a 3 inch lift SJ on a jeep and it was all over the road, i dont want that again!

I've had my lift in for about 3 years, my first impression was that the ride was a little softer than stock. I'm using the Skyjacker nitrogen shocks. With my BFG 35's, I gained 7 inches including the lift. No rubbing. I'm using Skyjacker's dual steering stabilizer - works good. I replaced my track-bar with an aftermarket unit which helped a lot. As far as all over the road - not at all. The change in handling is what I expected for the increase in center of gravity - definitely does not stop and corner like a vette - but it sure accelerates like one Oo.
