I phoned Rocky Mountain Suspension this morning. Turns out they only took my order and credit card #. All the boxes were shipped direct fron Skyjacker. (I gotta get me one of those Internet businesses)



Fella on the phone was nice enough, told me I had 48 hours to not accept the shipment, but would I let him have Skyjacker call me back? OK I say...



Skyjacker calls within an hour. The person I talk to tells me someone must have mislabled one of the rear leaf springs (DR76) that goes with the 2. 5" lift kit and I have received one correct leaf spring and one mislabeled leaf spring that is from the 4. 5" lift. He says he'll have UPS pick up both springs and send me a new pair right away.



Cool, but what about the box of parts that is split open and missing who knows what? I ask. And what about getting only 2 shocks when I should have gotten 6? I ask.



He puts me on hold for a minute, returns and says there should be another box arriving today with the other 4 shocks and he'll fax me a parts list of what should have been in the split open box. OK I say...



Now for the good part :rolleyes:



I get home and indeed there is a box just the right size to hold 4 shocks sitting next to my garage, only problem is the box has the same lousy packing tape job and is missing 3 of the 4 shocks. :{ And to add insult to injury the one shock that did make the trip to my house is the wrong part #!



Now I'm a patient man, but this is starting to sound like a soap opera for men and I don't like soap operas. Tune in for part 3 tommorow...

Well, There goes that 2. 5" stage II double flex system I was planning to buy. Guess I'll have to research a plan B. Any suggestions? :confused:
 
Dude what time does the UPS man get to your place I want a front row seat to watch PART 3 in person. BTW it'd be fun to tape the call back to Rocky MTN. or Skyjacker whoever you call. Have fun and don't forget take deep breaths we don't want to lose ya

What Willy said, send it all back and tell them to kiss your a$$. Sounds like you need to start all over and find somebody more respectable and trustworthy. Don't let them abuse you.....

Just a suggestion: I have had good luck with Jackit.com, and Hotrodoffroad.com, have them send you a catalog, I would consider this an investment so take your time don't rush... ... ... ... . Good luck... ... ... Dwayne..... :cool: :D
 
That is why I use the local truck shop whenever possible. I paid about $50. 00 more for my lift, but it was in one piece and when I had a problem with my springs I had an actual person to go and talk to. To late now, but maybe in the future keep this in mind.



I'll also vouch for 4 Wheel Parts, I only bought from them once but it was a positive experience.
