Skyjacker Softride Question?

I have seen quite a few posts about the 2 1/2" lift kit for the front of a first-gen truck. I can't find what I'm looking for by searching so here goes:
Does any one know the part number for the kit including the front springs for a 93'W250? 4wheelparts.com has them on there website and the price is around $350 but when I call them they say the prices have gone up and that the kit is over $500, I want to try ordering them through the website at the lower price but want to make sure I am ordering the right kit.

Have you considered Having your springs rebuilt and re-arched ? 2 1/2" is a tall step, watch out for drive line vibration/problems, not to mention jonny law with a tape measure #ad

Try calling skyjacker direct at 1. 800. SOFTRIDE and buy direct from them, the front 21/2" springs are nice, and bring the front up close to matching the back, no where near any legal problems and work with all your stock steering components ..... Rick

I put the 4" skyjacker lift kit on my truck, I got it through 4wheel parts for $600. It included add a leafs for the rear. Does not have that "stock" look anymore!!

I would not recommend lifting your truck past a 2 1/2 lift on the front, unless you are ready spend some serious cash. First or all, you will be maxing out the stops on the saginaw constant velocity joint in the front drive line, causing excessive vibration and ultimate driveline failure. Second, any time you lower your front axle, you change the angle of your drag link. If your drag link is anthing other than level, you have changed the geometry in your steering, and you will not be able to hit the steering stops on the axle when making a full turn. The correction for this problem? you can either install a 2" raised steering block (Superlift P/N 3460) or you can install a drop pitman arm, or if you do an extreme lift, like I did, you will need to install both along with an adjustable drag link, so you can get the steering wheel centered again. The cost of these three steering components alone will almost double the cost of your lift kit. If any of you guys are interested in a 6" skyjacker lift, e-mail me, as I an in the process of putting mine back to stock height. I found a buyer for my '91 and he wants the truck back to stock height. The kit included all new springs, RS 9000 5 speed adjustable shocks, Custom built front driveline, 4" Drop Pitman arm, 2" raised steering arm, and adjustable drag link. This kit has less than 4,000 miles on it, e-mail me for price. I'm going to put this in the TDR classifieds soon.
