2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission skyjacker trac-bar

Has anybody installed one of these? Was looking for some install advice and possibly pics of the install.

Do a search on this particular trac bar, if my memory serves me right there was some reason we cant use this on our CTD turcks. This is an issue that pops up every few months or so. Good luck. Of coarse they may have a model for our truck now but I cant remember the actual reason.

DT trac bar...

Go to http://dtprofab.com/dodge.htm They have about the best setup i could find. My truck drives better than stock.

From what I remember after doing some research and calling Skyjacker about 8-10 months ago was their trackbar only works on lifts over 4". It will definitely not work for stock height or even with D25 springs. This was directly from a rep at Skyjacker.

Stay as far away from the Skyjacker bar as you can.

I tried one on my truck and had all kinds of problems.

The biggest being that the bar was too long to center my axle even with 5 inches of lift.



It was replaced with the DT bar and now I have no problems.

well im stuck with this thing I thuoght about taking it to a machine shop and cutting the end that doesnt have the hyme joint and threading it for one and buy a dt bracket if they will sell me one, it should work the same i just need the length of the dt bar without the hyme joints.
