I have had a few lifted trucks that I have wheeled pretty hard. Now I am on my 4rth truck and am off to college. I have some different plans for this one although. I want to slam my single cab long bed diesel straight up suspension. Here's my issue, I can't find any suspension kits or even parts to do this. Kelderman makes an air ride kit that will lower it, but that runs a good $5000. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Slammin a 4wd creates a few problems. You can only go so far down with that front axle before you completely lose clearance... true of a lot of vehicles with 4wd. 2wd trucks have a lot more clearance up front with the lack of a big differential to clear. You are probably going to have to spend some coin to make it work, and it might just be too much trouble. Good luck with the project and let us know how it goes.

See if you can get ahold of Rick Wallace (CumminFast) I think he quit posting here a while back, but some people in his area might know how to contact him. Or Jeff Garmon might... ... he dealt a lot with Jeff G.

He has a 98 12V Reg Cab 4x4 5spd that was low enough to be stock 2wd!

Yeah I have heard a lot about the issues with the clearance up front. Thats why Kelderman was trying to talk me into their kit. And I must say I would love the air ride kit. But with a Goerend on the way and twins on the burner... there just ain't much $$$$$$$ left. :(
