I'm toast on this one too--wife informed late last night that we had a dinner date and that I was not going to this pull--I tried to convince her to move the date up to Lakeport, but not a chance--oh well---can't win them all..... chris

Adam, I've wanted to connect with you to find out how the switch to the auto transmission has worked out. Also, what kind of monster mods did you have to do to get it to hold up to that kind of muscle?? And an udder thing: is there a location or thread that we could start to keep a running tally nationwide on the different pull venues and how the DC crowd did??

I got a reprieve--so I'm headed on up..... gonna duel it out with a big ol' ford(Psychostroker)..... if the front end holds together it should be good..... chris

well I screwed up guys--lost to the big ford for the first time--driver error--I pulled first as he has pulled first the other two times---hooked onto the sled and pulled it somewhere between 325-350' on a 250' track--ran out of room---he hooked up and did the same---they reset the weight and I pulled again, except I hit a tire divot at about 230' this time and heard a big bang(now that I think about it it was the chain retightening on the sled), but I shut it down at 238'(I had plenty left which is a bummer)--breakage is no fun and it sounded like something broke--he hooked up and full pulled again--oh well, congrats to Psychostroker, as he didn't let up--it was great--smoke pouring out and the crowd was going nuts---Big Bad Dodge pulled for the first time and had a good time--don't remember what he pulled--but it was fun indeed---chris

OH BOY!

Now we have to listen to Psycho rant and rave!:)

Your right Chris, surely it was just the chain popping:eek:

Very generous of you to yield the right of way:D

great show boys. I wish I could have made it. I'm ready now, I can't wait for the next one.

Chris how did the frontend do?

Congrats to Bryan:)

I changed the front and rear tire pressure to 22 front and 37 rear and that helped a lot--so I'll keep upping the rear to see how it goes----chris
