Vaman--you know I never checked it out, but if I didn't it was closer than spittin' distance to a full pull than not--some of the guys who were there might be able to verify--the video cuts short as it looked like I still had some good ground speed going there and I know there wasn't much more room in front of me to pull when I stopped--it was quite fun and I can't wait to get to another one---chris

Chris/all,

Sorry I didn't get back to you with a response quicker. I was out of town all day yesterday attending my grandfather's funeral up north. He actually passed away last weekend while we were at the pulls in Half Moon Bay, and the service was yesterday up in Paradise where he lived for many years.

I'm glad to hear Mike got the problems resolved. I saved the videos to my laptop, but as someone mentioned, most email servers choke on very large email files.

I use Windows Media Player. At the Perf. Diesel site, right click on the link to each video, check "Save Target as... " then save directly to local hard disk in your system. When finished, either double click on it, and if it brings up Real Player, then maybe try right clicking on the video, then "open". That may still try launching with Real. If so, you may need to do a little fiddling with Windows to tell it to "associate" all files of type *. mpeg with whatever application you want: i. e. Windows Media Player. Can't quite remember how to do this off top of my head, sorry.

I don't have a 4x4, but I sure like watching these rigs. These trucks ain't nothing but... ... <blink>BRUTE STRENGTH!!!</blink> I hope I can find some of these pulls in my area to go to and root for the BIG CUMMINS. I watched the videos at work and can't wait to get home to load them on my PC.

Gald everone is enjoying them, that is what it is all about having a good time amoung friends. Kwikkurt, yes I do and it is one of them that is going to be going up there, along with another smoker tractor and a dragster tractor, also have to put up Physostroker's pull, he is a pretty cool guy who hangs around with us Dodge guys from time to time even though he is a Ford Guy.

B. Gill other than the hummer the Dmax I think pulled the least footage and did it real slllooooowwwwwlllllyyyyyyy. I don't even think it made it 1/3 of the track hmm maybe a third.

yes Mike i noticed, thats why i asked and there was some one near the guy who was making the video or it could be theat person himself, and he was saying" i think i can make it ,i think i can make it" and there was laughter and i could not help having a grin myself when i saw that,
and it really looked like the duramax was just crawling slow as comapred to the rams,all 3 rams finished in a forceful manner.

Chris course we both know how bad we clobbered the competition but in my first pull I went 337. 9(90ft farther than 2nd #ad
) and you went 347 and unfortunately would have been disqualified also if your mishap would not happend also. Anyway it was fun talk with you later.

BGill--Dennis pulled 311' on his first pull and I'm guessing somewhere around 280-290' on his second(finished 1st in the 7500lb class)

Brad--I don't know(finished 2nd in the 7500lb class)

My6EatsV8's--pulled over 300' on his first pull, but I don't know exactly how much, he could've been close to 350'(he was in the 6500lb class and smoked everyone in that class-too bad for the mishap in the final round)

me--I don't know--I think I was past 350', but I didn't check the official measurement so I could be wrong(had to bow out of the final round)

Hummer & Duramax--don't know but you saw the video

Ford dually(gasser,not shown-he won it last year)--did better than the Hummer & Duramax, but was no match for the CUMMINS in the 7500lb finals
