Guess how far the factory clutch in the 99 went this weekend at the Kearney Nebraska pull?

Truck was on 5x5, third gear 4 low.

That has been on the sig for a while. We knew it was going, so we finished it off, so to speak. We were able to drive it the 100 miles home. Took a couple tries to get it into reverse right after the pull though.

First ever hook with the truck. 161 feet and change. Winning pull was ~192 (indoor track) by a 04 superdudy. Maybe we could have tried 2nd low and been able to pull twice but oh well. Time for a good clutch.

Possibly a South bend con FE.

You need the new South Bend "Cerberus" clutch. It's a triple disc made just for sled pulling... . all the cool pullers are getting it. :D :D :-laf

You guys are really trying to push your names for the $300 aren't you? The truck is daily driven, and we will probably only pull about 5 times a year. Plus we know someone who has a lightly used conFE that he took out for an auto conversion.

Cerberus is cool, the giant, black demon shaped like a 3 headed dog that stands guard at the gates of hell.

It doesen't keep you from going in... just coming back out.

Jeez, I just thought of the perfect name for Peter's new clutch! You all know who slapped Cerberus around, right?

To get back on track a little.

If you are going to sledpull at all dont even consider a single disk from anyone.

I would recommend at least a South Bend Dual Disc 3600CB or 3850CB.

Pulling is like a disease and it is terminal!! :-laf

The son of the god of thunder and lightning, Zeus.

The mighty Hercules, whose actual physical strength surpassed that of the Titan Atlas, whom everyone thought was the strongest creature in the known universe.

While allowing the sky to temporarily rest on the peak of Mt. Olympus, Atlas and Hercules wrestled each other.

Hercules won.
