Check your innercooler hoses and make sure they are tight and not cut. Don't really know what else, I don't think 24v have a boost elbow, but I'm probably wrong. I think they use a boost fooler or something. If you do check it to. If all else fails call HTT and ask them, they may not have set the wastegate correctly.

Boots are all ok, no Boost elbow on my truck, but i do believe some 24v's do have them.

I figured HTT would have gated it at 40-45 PSI, but i guess i may be wrong.

If the new turbo is bigger than your old one, the peak boost will be lower.

He does have Mach 6's with a comp :D . That should be enough to spool a train turbo!!

Seems low to me but that is just my thoughts.

i took off the HY and put on the sp 66/ i figure i would see around 40 PSI

i am going to put the Boost fooler in the turbo... they say that will give me 10psi

the hx series turbos have boost elbows. when they switched to hy they are a little different. that was in 01 I believe.

p. s. i am known to be wrong at times also. lol.

i put the boost fooler in and i put the box on 5x5 and now i am getting 40-42 psi

I need to play with the rod to get 45psi

Truck now pulls hard like it should

i just put the turbo in, so i'll do some testing and post back on EGT's

at cruz'n speed the egt's are higher then the hy

so far the 6's are a little big for the street and everyday driving, with the box off it will haze driving it easy and on 5x5 the weather station changes there forecast LOL

LMAO Like that last part. What about with the comp just giving timing and no fuel that should clear up some of the smoke problems.

i was running the box off, but now i am running it on 2x1, it doesn't seem to change the smoke, it will still haze driving it easy, Egt's seem to be around 800 at 70 mph or 120km's for us canadians lol

on 5x5 this thing pulls like a freight train and thats at 40-42psi

i am going to play with the wastegate to get 45-48 psi and it should work a little better.

Run your comp on 1x1 and it should help clean up the smoke some, level 2 and up add fuel throught pump wire, level one doesn't. This is how I drive my truck around most of the time
