Gene thoroughly embarrased at the dyno

Yes, once again, Gene has been thoroughly trounced by a Ford. This time, it happened at Kaufmann's, on Saturday, 5th October 2002.

Oh, it was ugly. The two competitors exchanged epithets that would make sailors blush. After Gene finished his run, he was strutting about like a peacock, confident that no one could touch his 557/1257 results.

Then the Ford driver pulled onto the DynoJet. A hush fell over the crowd as the Ford was strapped down, and the dyno started.

In an instant, it was all over. The Ford had achieved incredible levels of power: 754/1573, on #2 oil only. Ever the gracious loser, Gene was heard to mutter, "Damn kid got lucky," as he slunk off to his Dodge to lick his wounds.

Someone please pass me my unknown Dodge driver paper bag again. I could not believe I witnessed not once mind you,BUT TWICE,the complete demolition of the world famous Sled Pulling king. I am certainly glad that when fest3er took the photos there was enough Ford guys on hand to keep all of us away from the Killer Ford as they drove it out of Ernies garage.



One thing fest3er missed with all the commotion was they actually BEAT Jetpilots slick black bottle rocket also and on #2 only. Man what a day,two of the easts usually undaunted heavy hitters destroyed by the Killer Ford... I am so ashamed... ... Andy

The semi is on the roof of the restaurant.



I only had two tires on two rollers- he had four tires on ONE roller.



If I could have fit all four tires on one roller, I would have smoked him.

We need a rule drawn up for next year... ... ...
