Here I am

Competition Sled Puller VS. Smokin' Dave Mitchell

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Came in 3rd again at local pull...

Competition small event in Cannon Co. TN

The words, "NO CONTEST" come to mind.

Dave went out the gate like they forgot to hook the sled on to him.

Lorretta was right behind him, as was another Thornville Dodge.

I was at 289, with a DURAMAX (where did he come from?)Dually 3 feet behind me.

Then there was a handful of PSDs and Cummins back to about 260.

So, I ended up with 4th in an ATPA sanctioned pull. My best pull since Muncie.

Good job on the 4th place finish, Gene , at least you didnt let the "other" brands whoop on ya. :D Just to be in the same class as the Thornville trucks is an acomplishment. I cant wait till Schieds, so I can finally see the "White Dodge" pull, best of luck Gene, your gonna need it. :p

Later, Rob

Gene,

If you would have kept your foot on the floor board (and your mouth shut;) you would have been right there with us. But no, not Gene. Dodge builds an aero dynamic truck, then Gene messes it all up by flapping his lips in the wind:D  ;) . He also put the wrong foot on the floorboard about 289' I think it must have been like the Flintstone cartoon in his truck for that 289'. The angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. That must be who Gene was talking to... . By the results we all know who won out! Hopefully he leaves that little fellow home when he goes to Scheid:).

As for everyone else, GREAT JOB!

I got beat by a girl too...

... At the local pull. She was also driving a C. T. D. I've got a question for you pro pullers. Whats the rules regarding blocked suspensions and front weight at most pulling events?I only pull once a year but might get into doing it some more. Just wanted to know what to expect. I also might be looking into a Mitchells clutch... Doug

What happened to the statement you made earlier. I thought you were done. Oh wait they don't make arm patches to stop pulling like they do cigarettes. ;)

That is it for me this year. Old wore out street tires are going back on, fuel is getting turned back to a reasonable level, wastegate will be set at 40#. Ok, maybe 50.

Too much carnage after Muncie, too much $$$$. :( :{

Hey!

The wore out ol street tires WERE on! And I did not mash it until about 150 feet, that is almost like turning the fuel back!

You guys won't even let me loose gracefully!;)

I think I'm being accussed of sandbagging!

Not very good, had a Cummins re-man VP44 shoot craps on me with 12,172 mi. on it. They re-placed no chg. , but 4 days motel cost me $278. 00.
