It's all in good humor! Gene just likes people to think that.

At least now I can take that vacation I've been needing, now that I've been fired: get out to the farms in MN for a couple hay mowings and to visit Mom's relations, head to LA to visit my elderly aunt, drive by Lodi and give Scot a mono-digital salute, stop in Hobbs, NM to verify a universal constant, get a lot of work done for the accountant and earn some money for the year... Yeah, I'll be on easy street now, returning to my well-earned retirement!
