Competition Sled-pulls in southern MI, who's interseted?

I have been contacted by Nate, from the Michigan Tractor Puller's Assn in regards to getting a diesel class up and running.



They run in southeast MI, so even members in the sorounding states should be able to make a few events. At first they will be exhibition (no payout), but in time we'll see a purse.



They have 3 events scheduled at the present time.



1)June 7th at 10AM at the Saline fair grounds, in Saline, MI.



2)July 30th at 7PM at the Monroe county fair in Monroe, MI. (rumor is they will pay $350 for 1st place)



3)September 28th at 10AM at the Saline fair grounds



These are all, "Run what ya brung".



What I am wondering is, how many are interested in this? This would be a great chance to get noticed here in MI, we have several pulls here, but only a few allow diesels, now is the time to get our foot in the door.



Remember, it's all in fun, don't be shy come on out!

I won't do any pullin, but I would definitely show up to support those who did, and lend a hand where needed (unless it interfers with my sprint car racin'). I would love to see a pullin series get goin around here. I'm tired of having to educate shiny new Duramax owners around here about REAL power. ( I have nothing against the Dmax, but since I live near Flint, everybody and there brother has one and they think Diesel pickups began with the Dmax. 'cept when they go for a ride and my DTT trans smoothly transfers my Edge'd, injectored 6 banger down the road. Then all of a sudden they want a Dodge... . go figure)

Monroe is about 1/2 hr drive from Toledo & the fairgrounds r on the westside of town on rt m-50 real easy to find.

Well I went to the pull & got smoked by 2 ferds & came in 3rd

Pretty dry & powdery track. It looked like a dust storm when I pulled.
