Gene,

Thanks for the color commentary in the new issue of Diesel Power magazine. It's cool to put TDR names with pictures of their respective trucks. It would be nice if Diesel Power actually SENT a journalist here to the Midwest. I guess WCCF bleeds into all sorts of things. :D

Anyway, thanks, Sleddy!

David Kennedy of Diesel power was in the area for a week during Hot Rod Magazines Drag Week. We co drove the Diesel Power Magazines enter. The word was out , wend we arrived at the Indianapolis Race park, the rain was there , but so was about 5 trucks with TDR members bringing signs and poster cheering us on , was a great feeling in Illinois, the great guys from the Illinois Dyno Center were there to help , along with a lunch, NX bottles filled , and a water pump .

Yup that's exactly where I'd expect a bunch of Diesel Heads to be... . A gasser drag week...

Not saying it's not cool, but come on. A DIESEL magazine to a DIESEL event would be a good idea... .

We, meaning every one of us that are diesel power enthusiast, took a old 6400lbs 200,000 mile truck and in three weeks made a 11 second ride taking it to a Major Mainstream Magazines deal, and opened a few eyes.

This was waving the flag of diesel power in the middle of the fastest so-called street car in America. David and I felt bad cursing by with the air on and tunes playing while the others rode in what were basically race cars with license plates.

I've never heard of or seen Diesel Power Magazine. I have heard of Hot Rod Magazine and their drag week, thier power tour etc... . good job David and Greg
