jt , you really can't think and apply what happens at a sled pull , or especially a back hoe as they have different size tires , that has to have some real odd setup . the pulls are run on dirt , loose surface and all the tires are breaking traction , the reason , me thinks, the rear bites more is the tongue weigth of the sled and it just gets heavier as you go .
drag strips are prepped so you have better traction , as witnessed in in the case of the guy that broke his input shaft and ruined his clutch with to hard a launch ...
