Sliding window removal

How do you remove the rear sliding window on a 03 2500.

I need to replace the left and right glass. My friend gave his 4 wheeler to much gas. glad it was his truck and not mine

pstillo, here's what I found in the manual.



1)Slide the upper run channel out of the window frame.

2) Slide the glass upward to remove from the window frame.

3) Lower the glass out of the upper window frame and remove.



Installation is reverse.



The "upper run channel" is located inside the truck along the top of the window between the glass and the frame.

what about the fix glass to left and right of the slider?

Ooooh, that's waaaay more than I want to type and you can't just replace the glass, you have to replace the backlite (frame). The backlite is actually a structural support for the roof so there is all kinds of urethane adhesive involved. Yuck!



I recommend calling your local glass dealer.
