Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I bought a 97 2500 4x4 a while ago, and have been trying to solve and improve some issues. I have lots of questions, but I ask them one at a time.
My shift lever is floppy, I mean sloppy, not solid feeling. I pulled out the shift level from the top of the trans (by depressing and turning the retainer ring) just to look it over, didn't really see anything obviously worn.
Anybody ever do something to make the shift pattern and the shifter travel more precise?
