SLT silver trim vs Laramie wood trim

Picked up the new 07 SLT and low and behold the trim on the rear passenger door has the Laramie woodgrain. Showed it to everyone at the dealer and they said "no problem" to replace. I said I would pay the difference to get the rest of the wood trim, (3 doors and the center of the dash) instead of them getting the silver for the door. Many phone calls and stops at the dealer and no luck yet. Anybody have a way to find out part #'s and I can just order the pcs. ?

oh, if it were only that easy,,,,,



All the SLT/Larmie Trucks had wood grain in 2006, The sport and SRT trucks had the satin silver and the ST had a black radio bezel and no trim on the doors.



I HATED the wood grain in my 06 1500,,,, I thought it looked very out of place, of course personal preference. The parts manager and i spent an hour or so going through the part manual to find to change the radio bezel,, you basically have to replace the entire center of the dash,, (cup holders up) and the door trim is serviced in the door panels,,, mopar accessories no long makes a woodgrain upgrade kit (02-05 only)



My advice,,, let them do a shortage and error claim (which will require a phone call to the service rep since you have already taken delivery,,, the should a filed with in 72 hours of delivery) and stick with the silver,,,, or get ready for a very costly up grade,,,



I would probally look to the aftermarket if you want woodgrain

I hate the wood grain to. I when thru the same process of trying to get something better from Dodge. Ended up just getting an aftermarket adhesive carbon fiber appearing overlay. MUCH better. I still have one for sale in the classifieds.
