SMALLEST dog in the US!

This is Shelby, our three month old Long-hair Chihuahua.

He's quite a pup! Weighs in at 1lb, 9 oz. He

should get to be 4 or 5 lbs max. He's still too

small to climb the stairs in our house but he

gives it a mighty try! He has two big

brothers, a 2 year old 19 lb Bichon, and a 1. 5

year old 18 lb Miniature Pincer.

Friend of mine raises wiener dogs (Dashounds?) her breeding technique is the reverse of what most would do, the runts are the breeders. I've seen rats bigger than these continuously yapping little runts, couldn't be more than 2 lbs full grown.

With our 3. 5 pound poodle... hes he looks about 5-6 pounds... but its all hair. . When we bath him... he looks like a wet rat!!!

My wife's Chihuahua is pretty small. When we got her (6-8 weeks old, I dont remember) she was the size of a large mouse. Could fit in your palm easily.

She's about 8 years old now, and about 5 lbs.

18 lb Min Pin?

Chris,



Is that kind of big for a min pin? My wife and I had to put ours down earlier this year. She was 14-15 years old, had survived two bouts with lukemia. Sometime we will get another but are to busy right now. Min Pin's, small dog with a big dog attitude.

Yup he's 18 lbs!

He's a big boy for his breed. Guess someone forgot to tell him he was a miniature!

He was just a 2 lb puppy when we got him and his sister a year ago. His sis is about 10 lbs now.
