SmartLock Trans Brake by Banks

Has anybody got any info on the SmartLock Trans Brake by Banks. I see it advertised, but haven't heard anything about it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have it installed with the exhaust brake and all is working well. Only about 30,000 mi since install.

From what I understand you can't put an exhaust brake on an auto trans. Did you?

I doubt Dodge will tell you that, but yes Banks and several other have them that ... fit.

Without some type of upgrade trans any addition to control braking if use on a continue basis is slow destruction of (stock) trans. This includes the Banks Brake controller.

Whats the weak link in the transmission in regards to the exhaust break.

I have his transmission upgrade, along with his smart controller, & a Banks exhaust brake. Everything works well & no problems.

Most would agree the TC is the weak link, If replacement is done the TC should be supported by a VB upgrade with some type of lockup commander. The Carlton Bale thread is interesting to note that the new software dis-engages the Brake and down shifts automatically,This is a great feature but is not necessary with a upgraded TC.
