I've started a new Smarty thread for the 3rd gens to get away from the other that's more for the 2nd gens.

The smarty is what the 3rd gens have been waiting for. If Marco can get rid of the unneeded pre and post injection events and add some timing along with torque control adjustability. That would be great!

I hope he can let us know something soon!
 
I'm wondering if the third gen unit will have the ability to read codes on second gen trucks?

Yea I'm watching this product with baited breath. I like the idiea of no footprint, able to read & clear codes, 10 different programs, able to download more programs from home computer as they come available, spedo correction for tire sizes. Marco is an Italian genius. Oo. Oo.

Yeah! 3800 would be very nice!!! Even full fuel to 3600 would be a whole lot better than what we have now but 3800 would be awesome!
 
I mentioned it to maco yesterday and we are now into march (no sure if early or late)



Marco and Stefano will have all homework done before a product is released.



The goal here is 100% satisfaction

There are a lot of 2nd gens out there and I knew Marco would get flooded with orders. He may get just as many 3rd gen orders. I hope my order isn't lost!

I can respect Marco for taking his time and making sure things are right before making them available. Too many folks get eager to release a product and problems are found by customers. One of the good things about the Smarty is it can be up dated by internet downloads.

Get one to me by the end of March and I won't go Postal! :eek:
 
this is what we need smarty to do.

1. dynamic aggressive timing(will use tst for duration only and ez for fuel p)

2. full fuel to 3800

3. waste the 3rd injection on 04. 5+

4. waste defueled shifts

5. high idle after 3min without moving/high idle when under 50deg/3cyl shut off under 35deg



is that to much to ask. .



bad news is its is my understanding that the box alone give less hp than ez that bl@#$ so once again we are falling back on the good old TST... BYE THE WAY MARK CHAPPLE YOU STILL DA MAN

I had stayed away from down loaders in the past but this one sounds interesting. I see pre orders are being taken for 3rd gens.

The FAQ section sounds all good but can we get more specific data for each of the settings?



Like: #3 is X timing, X pressure and X duration. Just something about knowing what I am programming in other than a menu number and, a higher number is just more power.
