2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Smarty and better MPG ?

I have been reading the smarty posts

And see that one or more of the power/timing settings are supposed to provide better MPG. I was wondering how much better? I have an EZ and get about 1. 5 mpg better with it switched on. Would I get better than that with the smarty?

I started with the EZ, and got a bit over 1 mpg. Sold it, upgraded to Smarty for the enhanced power/throttle response and lost no mileage. Added Mach 1 injectors and got another 1mpg. The fuel saver program in the Smarty made NO improvement at all. Just my experience trying it three different times under controlled conditions.
