hi guys, just have a few quetions for you as the current setup will have to change in order to tow a larger trailer safely. right now i have an ecm that marco from mads flashed with the catcher software and no timing. aswell as the jammer stage 5 injectors and a edge drag comp which is set on 1x3. the twins seem to do okay cooling once the truck gets going but the bottom end gets hot just towing my 3000 lbs enclosed trailer. (egts 1000(pt) @ 75 mph with this trailer 20 or so lbs of boost) and i know i will be in for it once i get into the mountains with this new 10,000 lbs trailer. so my question is where to start? do i put these big injectors on the shelf and buy some smaller ones or can i tune the truck better with the smarty?

The injector is too big for towing. Remember, the jammer 3 is pushing it. The Jammer 2 is perfect. Anything smaller and you can actually use a mild fueling box while towing.

If you want a street rod, you have to build it. If you want a tow rig, you gotta build that, too.

Your'e right about the injectors. Your'e building a street rod.

Go smaller on the injectors and turn that Edge Comp off. Let the CaTCHER and twins and your new injectors rock and roll.

throttle jockey, thanks for the info. any suggestions on which brand? dons injectors look nice and i cant say the jammers have let me down yet.

I like the Jammers 'cause I like to buy just the tips and build 'em myself. Then the injectors are guaranteed to get a good inspection, cleaning and assembly.
