just wondering what all can be run with the smarty ,tst pm 3, edge

has anyone tried to run all 3 i have a edge comp box but someone said that you can run the smarty with tst pm3 and also the edge is this true thanks

Check my sig, I run the Smarty with a TST and like it. In your case, since you already own the Edge Comp you could run that with the Smarty. I bet you will be happy with the results.

The Smarty can program timing or no timing in conjunction with the Catcher Software. So I guess that it is plausible that you could do this.

  • Run an even number Cather SW - no timing
  • Run the Edge for timing only - pump wire not attached
  • Run the TST for fueling - pump wire tapped

Not exactly sure of the benefits, but I bet you could do it.

I've run the Smarty with the Comp and the TST both. Personally, I like the Smarty/TST stack better than the Smarty/Comp. With the TST, I can use the timing from the Smarty and adjust extra fueling through TST.

I was able to put down 434/1072 Saturday with the combo listed in my sig. Quite happy, just needing more turbo to handle the fuel.

i believe the guys that sell the smarty will even tell you, your best power gain will be with the tst & the smarty

i wouldnt even think of plugging in all 3, just asking for trouble

I've run the Comp and the Smarty, but I never tested that combo on the dyno. As far as preference, I like the Smarty/TST because the power delivery is more smooth/linear. The Smarty/Comp has power, but I think the Smarty/TST has more power on the top end. Judging from my experience and from a friend who also ran both combos, it pulls harder on the top end and gets hotter on the top end with the TST.

The other main thing I noticed is that I have less smoke on the bottom end with the TST, the power is there, but it's not as smoky.
