I don't have to read anything... Slips say it all. You have the same chip PLUS an II stage 3 and injectors and your pretty much running side by side down the track.

Sorry for getting off topic, Im done here... .

lethal, I just noticed your in MI. Drive over to Lowell, they can hook you up wtih a transmission to hold it.

Yep

I got to use one on loan this evening at the drag strip

with my TST and EZ stack I was running 15. 1

Upload Smarty and turn off TST and EZ = 14. 43

next run was 14. 31, my previous best ever was 14. 41 but was unable to do it again last weekend or tonight.

So the next round I decided to add a little TST into the mix, 2X5 (single program)

Pulled off a 13. 949

next run, backed it with a 13. 950

this ain't no built auto, 6sp with 35" tires wieghing in at 8400 lbs

Yes he does... thats good times for a truck of his weight and tires. I'd love to see what my friends truck would do with a 66, a clutch, and more fuel. Man I love common rails :D

before you start that why dont you look in the CP3 post and do alittle reading. i haven't met anyone who can shift quite like me.

I'll accept that shifting challenge.

By the way, I believe 14s on just a Crazy Larry, Luken.

Thanks bansee,

Hopefully I will get the chance to watch you in person. I can't believe you can shift that fast. It's insane...

I've talked to numerous guys that know what they are talking about and they all believed it. Its always the same little group of guys that doubt everything.

p. s. Robert, The only thing I would challenge banshee in is an automatic :-laf

Luken,

There's a guy with a '05 out here who has intake/exhaust/CL with a stock turbo and clutch, and he's netted a 14. 8 @ 95. x. His truck's a little heavy, so 14. 6 is right in line. My truck ran a 14. 7 on the stock clutch & turbo with the tst/ez stack once upon a time, too.

I'll be in Atlanta in a couple weeks, but if you can't make that David Dunbar took this video from Rockingham this weekend (thanks Dave!!!).

My 60's were terrible (2. 0x) because I was spinning all 4 off the line pretty bad, but it's still not a bad run.

Robert,

I hate to bust your bubble but yep it does run 14's and the ONLY FUELING BOX IS A BULLY DOG on crazy larry...

He doesnt have the slip of the 14. 40 with him, its at his house but he just handed me one of the of 14. 62.

2. 38 60 ft

6. 32 330 ft

9. 52 1/8 et

76. 88 mph

12. 30 1000ft

87. 92 mph

14. 62 1/4

97. 34

Once again the only fueling box the truck has is a crazy larry... .

After riding in my truck he is going to buy a tst but I'm telling him he needs a clutch and a turbo first... .

BTW, I appreciate you guys callin me a liar.

You guys are starting to sound like the ford guys at the track that swear my truck doesn't have stock injectors because of the way it smokes...

first thing is first---man it feels good to be back.

on that thought, luken, no one was calling you a liar--your post was simply questioned.

now robert must have put one two many things in his sig cause i know what he has. it's no more than a stock truck w/ a set of injectors and a bully dog box. the track we were @ yesterday was 105+ and humid and he did a best of 14. 5, i know that there are many variables in racing, heck i only ran a 12. 80 @ 108 yesterday, but were not going to get into all that was associated with that. keep it cool :D

other than the bully dog what else does your friend have done? has to have more than just a bully dog to make a 14 second pass with a six speed. you can see what i have in my sig and then compare that to my time slip. your friend has more than a bully dog box on that truck.

Wade, simply questioned?

It's no big deal really... Your friends truck with injectors and a bully dog is running side by side with my friends with no more than a stock truck and a bully dog. It must be the humidity. Down here in Missouri we don't know what that is... :D

btw, welcome back... maybe your the one that needs to keep it cool. . HAHA :D jk

when is your truck going to be up and running?

One of these days... Hopefully with a Floor-It stage 2 and a set of Flux injectors it will get me closer to the 11's. I talked to the local track again Friday and they said I won't need a cage when I get in the 11's... if it ever happens.

sorry if my later posts seem doubtful, my first post say it is possible. not calling anyone a liar. i think that what i was getting at was the low 14's seemed a little out there but still quite possible under perfect conditions.

mid 14's is defiantly doable.

p. s. i would love to get into a little shifting challenge. Oo.

Atlanta. DPM Shootout. Sept 9th. $200 cash and $250 gift certificate to the fastest manual at the event (Thanks to DPM and South Ben Clutch respectively). I'm going to be there. Care to come down and challenge for the prize??

well i know my truck is no were near the fastest manual. so i will respectfully deny this offer.

if you would like, any time you are up close to me we can go to the track and i will let you drive my truck to see who will turn the best time.
