I can not figure out how to set up a poll can someone post a poll for the smarty for the 2nd generations so we can see where everyone is obtaining the best fuel economy. For my setup it appears to be on program 7. I did not see any increase on the fuel economy program?

I have mine set on level 3 all the time and will get 20 on a routine basis on long drives. I didn't give the fuel saver level an honest run, as when I tried it out when I went home on leave last year, my VP was on it's last leg and it would stall out when I would leave stop lights/signs.

I tried the fuel saver mode but with the 155 hp sticks it loped so bad I couldn't stand it so I run in level 4 most times. with comp 1-1 or 2-2 and average 16 overall thats with interstate speeds of 75+ most times. I would do better at under 70 I believe.

I went from a Banks Ottomind to the Smarty. So my mileage I can't say for sure, but it went up with the Banks 1-2 mpg and never got worse with the Smarty on any of the performance SW settings I have tried. That is except for the Fuel Saver SW which I have never tried.

If you are asking about the Fuel Saver specifically I think the SW might pay out if you are running empty on long flat stretches. Most of what I have read people will say about 1-2 MPG on any odd numbered SW and the Fuel Saver SW made very little difference for them. From my experience, if I drive conservatively I get the gains, when I drive aggressively the fuel seems like it is is consumed by the barrel not the gallon.

FWIW I also noticed an increase in mileage going to the Mark I injectors over the stock ones.
