Smarty CR software updates

I tried it again, and it said 'error, unknown software'. I re-downloaded the program from the Mads Electronics website, re-unzipped it, and still no dice



any ideas fellas?

What version Smarty do you have there are two 04A or 06A they each take a different program you will find each on Mads sight. If you look at the Serial number tag on your smarty it will tell you whitch version you have.

I loaded the wild program for stock inj. and aftermarket turbo. Every thing loaded OK. this is very close to the orig. program, but more refinement. Not quite as aggressive but a huge improvement over the last three updates#ad

I agree. The wild for stock inj. and aftermarket turbo fuels much harder down low than the previous updates but the go pedal is not as touchy as the programing that the Smarty originally came with.



I think SW 9 will be my daily driver till it snows.

I have an 04A, and I downloaded the 04A programs. I didnt know that there were 2 different programs, Lightman, thanks a lot. Any other ideas?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the S-04A stock engine program (ver. 3. 09B,2. 05A) and the stock turbo w/ aftermrkt inj program(ver. 3. 09B,2. 05c). Also can you run the (ver. 3. 09B,2. 05c) with stock inj. without causing any problems? TIA

turn key on, hold the 5 key down, plug smarty in release the 5 key



wait for the update screen and press 1



right down the numbers and letters and post em up.

but the non timing levels on the smarty make what you advertise, right? just with higher egts?

Since the new release of softwares more testing will be needed .



I want the first version software brought back to life Oo.

So it looks like only the 04. 5+ trucks are having problems downloading these new versions, whereas the 03-04 SO/HO trucks are doing well?



I was getting a little nervous about trying the new downloads, but if it's only the +04. 5 trucks having issues then I'll try it tomorrow unless it snows again.

So, Is there a way to get a program for aftermarket injectors and aftermarket turbo with the transmission tune? I like the idea of holding 1st gear to 15mph and not 9 mph !! thanks, jason

Bob, I have the AK software also and get the same error when using

Smt3eV309D405D. smt. I tried 4 others and they all worked ok.



It"s just the Smt3eV309D405D. smt that is unknown to my smarty.
