Any one selse seeing surging?

I am running the TST 3/1 (03 twins program), EZ on 1 and the SMARTY on 3. (never been higher yet ... lol). Stock program on the SMARTY

When I am heavy in to it on the hwy at about 130km/h. Running empty, just having fun, (not continious), passing or overtaking.

The truck surges and the boost guage jumps like 8-10psi. I looked no boost leaks and or cracked hoses.

I am only running about 40psi on the SP66.

Rail pressure guage not yet installed but on the way (thanks again BOB)

Is it a problems of all boxes on at once?

Anyone else seeing this.

If I turn the TST to 0/0 it goes away?

That would be your turbo surging. ;) Just one of the things that comes with it... .

I figured that ...

I just wondered if there was any new programing out to get more top end or address any of the other requests on this thread... .

Interesting thing regarding my diesel rattle. I had some time to play with the programs last week, and even though I put my Roktek back to stock, the rattle was still present on all levels. So I put the aftermarket inj/stock turbo program back in and all was fine. I'm wondering something, when I was working on cars back when, if we advanced the timing too much, it would run hard out of the hole and lose top end, and retard, sluggish low end and run hard on top. I wonder if he did the same with this new update, put too much timing in it because it didn't do it before I put the new update in.

Same results for me with aftermarket inj/stock turbo program.

EGT's were around 150* higher 2000+ rpm too with that software.

Went back to stock/stock program for now. It does seem to be a touch quieter on the rattle then with Stock TM vs. Mild or Moderate TM's which I had been running.

All comparisons were done with SW5 and SW7.

The new software release only effects 2007 trucks.

Please read the NEWS page. Thank you

Thanks Bob. Installed it on my 06, will it harm my truck I will uninstall but it runs so smooth.

no it wont and I am sorry for the confusion. All the 04/07 smartys can be updated to the new software.

But the updates only effect 07 trucks.

So if you ever plan to offer a 2007 owner a trial download then you would be advised to do the update.

We also say to keep your software up to date. :)

Thank you

They already offer wastegate disable (which includes ECM functionality to stop the de-fueling process caused by over-boost conditions)... I think Marco said there was a reason he could not do "boost fooling" - had something to do with how high to set it for what combos guys may be running... check out MadsElectronics.com for his Boost Fooling section for SMARTY...
