Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) smarty/edge ez

If i put a smarty on my truck would i need to remove the edge ez? Can they be used together if i stay off the timming settings? I have seen this question answered with other boxes including the comp but not the ez? By the way The Smarty would not go on until injectors are installed . Just looking ahead.

Yes you can use them together. SW 0-2-4-6-8 have no timing. Stay away from the fuel saver too, it has more timing than 3-5-7-9!!

I ran my EZ with a loaner Smarty on #8,then removed the EZ and went to #9. Zero difference. Junk the EZ when you get the Smarty.

Junk the EZ and get a fueling box that fuels through the pump wire only.
