Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Smarty,edge or nothing

Thinking about a fueling box. I have a 4'' ss exh. When the vp went south i put in a hot rodvp and 150 fass. I like the edge with att for the guages. I wont tap the pump with my stock auto . Do you think its worth it? Or should i leave like it is? This will be my last diesel pu when i buy my class a with an older 8. 3 the truck and 5th wheel will go. Up north its not worth the extra cash unless you are working it every day. The bodies rot to fast. Easyer to trade in a 4 year old gasser and not worry about everything falling apart do you think the transmission will hold up on the lower levels? The truck has allways been maintained. Never abused. Once i get the steering figured out( see next post) box will be next step maybe thanks bill

Smarty with gauges. No need to tap the pump.

Do you want to pay for more power? Is it worth it to you? If it were me and I was planning on keeping the truck I would buy the edge comp and tap the pump wire, install an EGT gauge, replace the torque converter.
