Smarty Install W/ Edge Juice Attitude

My truck presently has an Edge juice/attitude set up. I am going to install the Smarty software on the truck in the next couple of days. The Smarty instructions state that the first order of business is to remove any performance enhancing device. If I simply set the Edge controller to the "stock" setting will this suffice? I hate to have to unplug and remove all the Edge wiring harness. I intend to leave the juice on the truck in the stock setting and use the attitude as a guage set while using the Smarty exclusively for performance on the engine. Any thoughts or recommendations pertaining to how these two components will interact would be appreciated. Are there any potential ways to interface the juice on the mileage, tow, or drive settings with those of the Smarty? I am well aware that true big power will require injectors, turbocharger and possibly fuel pump upgrades. I am just looking to leave the OEM parts until I can swing the cost for performance replacemnts. Big thanks to Bob Wagner for the speedy service, shipping and great price on the Smarty.

I've been running the two together now for about 6 months, if you leave the edge on 0/stock everything works just fine. The juice will add some boost fooling which will allow the Smarty to build a little more boost than it normally would. Unfortunately i have had very little luck running the both 0> at the same time. If i use the timing programs in the Smarty i get lots of timing rattle on any high combination and without the timing programs the Smarty seems stronger.
