The current software does have more adjustments, but that's not the big reason to upgrade. All of the tune has been redone, it's smoother, cooler, more efficient, quieter, and smokes less.
With the release of UDC updating the Smarty Jr has become very easy.
Download this file...
http://www.madselectronics.com/downloadfiles/SmartyUDCsw_Setup.exe
Install it and then open it.
Plug your Smarty Jr into the computer via a USB port, it takes a USB printer cable.
Then open the Smarty menu at the top of UDC, select update manager.
Tell it your model, S06-JR, then under updates select the only file there, then download. Once the download completes select update.
Then go program your truck. I would set it on SW2 Timing Default, Torque 3 for towing. Then enjoy the new tune.
