What I love about my truck

My truck allows my wife and I to travel safely and with security knowing we're surrounded by a well engineered and thought out truck.

I've found it very comfortable, easy to maintain while being easy on the pocketbook. It's never missed a beat, in the short time we've owned her, she's given us 20k miles and 8 states from washington to louisana. About a third of the miles includes towing our 27' TT.

Also noteworthy, the wife loves it besause she doesn't slide across the seat while driving through the mountianous roads around home.

If it's good enough for her, I'm happy.

What I love about my truck.

Three words. Cummins Diesel Engine. It's the ooooonly way to drive. Period.

What do I love about my truck.....

I love the fact that I can't get into it when I have a skirt on without hiking the skirt all the way up to my hips (after checking, of course, to make sure that... noone's looking :-laf ). I'm very short!! :-laf And heels... that's another issue too :D .

I love it when I find another cummins (or powerstroke and even duramax for that matter) drivin on the highway, they also love to show what the truck can do  . I love the power that it has - and if I had the money, I'd add more. Let's shake, rattle and roll!!!!

I love the fact that I can pull down trees with it! We've been cutting trees on the property and the ones that get stuck... we use the cummins to get them out... NOT the powerstroke (yes, we have a powerstroke in the family too. Don't tell him, but it sucks up all of our money - that damn vehicle).

I love the fact that I've never had a breakdown yet that was related to the engine (well except for the fuel pump... fixed that with the FASS). His powerstroke... can't say that.

I love the fact that the minute that I purchased this vehicle, I was introduced to a wonderful family (TDR and then later - after it was created - the NETDP) with the comraderie and helpfulness that you don't get in many other places.

I've been a volunteer firefighter since '94 and a paramedic since '00. I've seen too many small vehicles destroyed and cut too many people out of them. I wanted a vehicle that would protect me and not crumble around me. I would need to be hit by a semi to cause much damage to myself :D .

Just a few of my favorites things...

The main thing I like about my truck is that it has a CUMMINS

I've tried out a Smarty Jr and like the difference it made

Thanks Bob for letting my brothers and I try out the Smarty Jr and also for donating one for the prize.

What do I like about my truck?

Power, fuel economy and simplicity of my Cummins engine (and how the Smarty Jr makes it run like it should). I just need a Jr to put on my Dad's truck.

What I love about my truck is all of the compliments that I get on it. The Cummins motor is the best part of the truck. Still a happy owner with 270k miles on it. Can't imagine driving anything else. After all my wife has never seen me own anything else!!!

I love the fact our truck has pulled our car trailer everywhere we have been from Minnesota, we have been to CA enroute to Mopars At The Strip(VEGAS), to move our son and now wife from Missouri to Florida. Been to the Florida Keys for TDR Five Points Tour. Raced in Bowling Green Kentucky, Indianapolis for Pinks All Out, and everywhere in between for 116,000 trouble free miles with absolutely no trouble on the road!!!! All I can say is it is the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned... . It rides better than our 04 Grand Caravan and gets within 0ne MPG of the van. Our son and daughter inlaw are the proud owners of an 05 CTD QC SB and she insisted on a Diesel, Remember if momma isn't happy no one is happy.

What do I love about my truck:

The power

The sound

Beging able to pull away from most cars & trucks, even going up hill

The look

The looks I get

I love the truck 'cause it is a swiss army knive. It does everything that I ask it to do, tow, cruise, race the uninformed, haul, amazing versitility that you wouldn't expect in a truck.
