I'm trying to justify that amount of money and don't want to waste it again. I've had others, didn't work out.



Is everyone happy with their Smarty Jr? Would you buy again? What don't you like?

Yes. Yes. Nothing. I loaded the economy and like it so much I have not tried anything else. Improved my fuel mileage by about one half mpg. Turbo spools much faster. Fast idle works. It as if the truck was meant to have one.

The only thing I might consider over the Jr is going with the Sr smarty. but thats just because once i get my transmission done and another turbo and fuel system I want more witch is just the way I am, but I really like Jr the drive ability is top notch and when you ned a good rush just stand on it and it will make you smile. I'm seeing about 1. 5+ mpg as long as I drive in normally. I have been using the 70hp tow setting and depending on what I'm towing I do have to take it easy on the go petal or it will slip the transmission, I had about 8k behind me last week and it was great but i had to roll on the fuel easier than i would have if It was still stock but I have no complaints

I am very happy with my smarty jr. just down loaded setting 1 have been running 2. Looking for some more mpg. Also going to diesel drags in panama city fl. in a couple of weeks I think #3 might get tried out.

By far the single BEST product I have installed to date. Better throttle response,improved MPG,Now have the high idle feature that the ******* wanted 80. 00 to install. Was able to set my wheel height,can read codes and can be taken off the truck in a matter of minutes without detection. All in all a product that does all it promises.

Very happy! Have put about 5000 miles on my 06' since I installed it. Mileage is up 1 to 2 mpg. {hand calc. } towing and unloaded. Great, smooth power.

I have been considering one, but tow a white 35 ft. fiver. How is the smoke issue? Don't want to have to clean the rig every time I move it.

I towed my alfa fiver... aprox 12,500 on the tow setting and she pulled like a train. In tow haul mode on hills I normally pull in o/d off setting the truck wanted to pull in top gear... crazy. Downside after 100 miles my fiver is sooted up... . have to get a turndown if I want to keep fiver clean but she tows GREAT! Maybe I'll try towing in econo mode.

I just installed my smarty jr. Not that impressed with the power3 setting. I did a free bully dog download last year and thought it made more power. Is there maybe something wrong with programer? I have read lots of people saying that there is no more smoke than stock, I dont have any smoke before or with smarty jr.

I am going on a 4100 mile trip next month so should get a good feel for it. 1500 miles towing a 5th. whl. and 2600 w/o towing.

Mine is okay - did not improve fuel mileage for me. I'm not sure if I would do it again.

Smarty Jr. (and candy) arrived today. I removed the Workhorse chip and loaded up no. 1 from the Smarty. YEEHAAAAA.
It smokes slightly on initial take off but that disappears as it accelerates and does it ever accelerate. I will try out no. 2 & 3 later just for kicks but will run in no. 1 mostly.
The instructions say to plug into the buss plug on the passenger side of the steering column under the dash. My plug is on the left side of the steering column... ... ... ?? Not a problem though.

Got mine yesterday and installed in a few minutes. I too, couldn't find the port to plug in the cord, until I looked to the left of the steering column. I have only driven about 35 miles so far, but can sure tell a difference. I had an Edge EZ installed and left it connected. Does anyone have any experience with the same combination? I downloaded #2 on the Smarty Jr. and left the Edge on #1.
