I've been switching back and forth between the edge juice w/attiatude and the smarty jr. These are the results that I have found with the quad deck on and loaded. Edge on #3 5th gear (all at 110km's) 950 degrees/13#, smarty tow 820 degrees/27#, smart perf. 800 degree/25#

6th gear edge#3 1090 degrees/14#, smarty tow 900 degrees/20#, smarty perf. 880 degree/20#

The smarty is definetly cooler on the EGT's, but allot higher on the boost.

My question is, is this boost level safe on the long tern for the turbo/engine?

I'm thinking of staying with the smarty for the 150/200 degree difference in temps.

any input any one?

I have Smartys on all three trucks... I see 30psi + (30 psi gauge) all the time on my 4500. My 3500 has been spinning 34psi for almost 10 years and my wife's spins 30 psi for the past 8 years. There are experts out there who can be more precise, but for my part, I would not exceed 38 psi.

Folks like Piers and ATS might be able to give the exact answer.

The efficiancy of the compressor wheel on the HE351VE is maxed out at about 35-38 psi. You are also running a fair amount of drive pressure to run that high. I would try to stay under 38 psi.
