Removed the TST PowerMax and installed the SJr today. Seems like the TST made a bit more power (maybe) at the top end when set to 40HP (2/2) than the SJr set to 1 but it (Jr) has better response down low and no smoke unless I really try and even then, very little. I dialed it up to level 2 (70HP towing) and it doesn't seem to have much more power than level 1 until higher RPMs. All just my perception of course. Any thoughts?

Another thing I noticed, w/the TST I had to use my right foot to keep the boost under control (I have an adj elbow) and with the SJr, it stops rite at 28PSI. Wonder why?

The Jr does not fuel near as hard as the TST. Try sw3, it should get you about equal to 3/2 on the TST, depending which TST program, Standard, not the Twins.

I have heard several people ask about the boost, try loading the software again, make sure all accessories are off, I have connected a trickle charger to my batteries while downloading the software.

If you want it more aggressive on the bottom end, you may need to adjust the torque management settings... I have mine set for stock so that its a soft launch for winter driving.

Just a reminder, if you change any of the options, you then have to download the SW# into your truck again, before the option change will take place. Then the option change will be the new default, until it is again changed. On the SR, going back to "0" changes all options to original default, not sure about the JR.

If you change from one SW to another, it automatically changes the previous settings back to "default". You make changes, and it reloads the new parameters.

One thing to make sure is that you have the latest software version loaded in your Smarty... it makes a world of driveability difference. I hated my JR when I first got it, and only in passing found out it had older software... the updated software is ideal for me.
