Smarty or Edge Juice/Attitude

I want one for MPG increase while towing approx. 10,000 lbs. I really cann't decide on which one. Don't care about power increases as each will do that and with my stock truck don't want more power. I do want MPG increase.

I like the idea of the edge juice/atittude with the gauges and built in safety features.

I also like the smarty with code reader, feature enable, and totally indectable. Not that anyone should try and hide problems they caused themselves.

I can get either one for only a few dollars difference.

I have had modified vehicles/trucks in the past and know all the assest/liability fun/problems so please don't lecture me on what I should have as support components.

Which level to run on would be o. k.
Any problems with either units?

For MPG increase which one would you use?

smarty has more smoke and low end power the edge has less smoke and more top end... ... ... ... . hope this helps

Too much low end power on a stock truck towing 10,000 lbs is a bad thing. I'am leaning more toward the Edge Juice/Attitude monitor simply because it's more of a linear throttle response. The Smarty looks attractive to me because of the features it can offer the Edge Juice/Attitude does not. Then the Edge Juice/Attitude look attractive because of the monitor and not so much grunt right off throttle.


I really only need one of them and the one that proves to give more MPG increase would be the one for me. Although it is hard to give up guages for personal security concerns.

I didn't see any fuel economy gains with the Edge Juice but did see a 1-2 MPG gain with the smarty on the one I demo'd.

Have you thought about a tst? I had one one my 03 and 05 and liked it. I will be getting one for the 06 soon.

Looks like a nice unit, it's just that I can buy a new Edge Juice/Attitude from another dealer at a lower price than your selling the Smarty for alone.

I have a 06 quad cab 4x4. I have taken out the muffler and added a better air filter.

I am interested in the smarty. I am not sure if it will be good on a stock truck like mine or not.



I have heard people talk about gauges? I don't have any, what do you suggest?

Just a quick post as I am leaveing in the morning on a 12000mile trip did 300miles this morning my mileage appears to be up about 1. 47mpg with the smarty on 1 will play with it on trip and see what works best rite now I love it feels real good on over all power a little smokey but I can live with it but I do have honed injectors will post more latter Randy Will be back approx 2/18 Marco and Bob Ilove it!!!!!! Oh yea it cooled my egt down alot approx 200 to 300 deg much better
