Dilemma... dilemma...

1a) I want/need Smarty ASAP... but I am already overdriving my stock HX35 turbo with the Mach II's and the PM3 box set on #7, so the question is... . do I get Smarty and live with keeping the TST box on low settings for a while, or?...

1b) ... . do I upsize to an HTB2 first, then get Smarty? EGT's alredy pushing 1400 with Mach II's and PM3 on 6 or 7

We won't talk about my needed fuel pump upgrades.

2) Also, Smarty + PM3 + HTB2 = too much for Mach II injectors? I would LOVE some Mach 4's, but need to justify these things with the boss.

Help!

Tim

p. s. I've got the box off now while I break in the Con FE clutch. What an amazing piece of hardware Peter and the folks at South Bend have created.

Tim, 1) the real magic of the Smarty is at the bottom end where the throttle response is what you will notice. No need to push your HX 35 to it's limits to feel Smarty do it's thing. 2) The Smarty + PM3 + HTB2 combination should work just fine with the Mach 2's but the Mach 4's would make your smile wider.

As for what to do first, that's entirely up to you. :-laf
