Ok heres the thing. i was at the drags in bunker hill playing around and i noticed that with my smarty on 3 i could only build boost to 13psi. With it on level 7 it would go to 18 psi. With it on 9 it would shoot to the moon



Has anybody else experienced this?

That's how it works. It's called "boost fooling. " It sends a modified boost signal to the controller, so it gets more boost than stock before it actuates the wastegate.

A. No, Smarty offers SW# 0 that provides about HALF the power of a stock software.

SW# 1 is a Fuel Saver software. With todays fuel prices... Testing is still in progress but so far

it looks VERY promising. MPG gains are almost too good to be true. We will report about the

MPG gains as soon as more hard test data flows in. SW# 2 deals only with fuel and boost. SW

# 3 is fuel, boost, and timing. The remaining levels can be considered at full title CaTCHERs.



Q. Does Smarty do the boost fooling function?

A. Yes, all the the softwares in Smarty ;have modified boost tables in them in order to allow for

higher boost without defuelling. ( Except ;SW # 0 and of course Stock ) No external boost

fooler is required!

My combo puts out max boost #s in 3 OR 9 the Smarty only changes the rate of low end fueling. Cutter i think it has more to do with the huge single turbo youre running.

my max boost doesn't change regardless of the Smarty software I'm using... past the "limit" of my stock turbo...

guess i didnt read that part but i was under the assumption that it did it in all the settings except 0. All of these were with the tst on 9. Now im wandering if it will do it without the smarty in (spool up that is).
