Sorry for being ignorant, but do us hand-shaker drivers need current updates (don't have a Smarty yet but I may as well ask) or are they only transmission shift updates for autos?

I told my transmission guy what the deal was and he said he had a fix for it. It has never done it again

Guess you must be trollin huh? You got a fix, but don't post it. Rather you figure you can bait others with some ambiguous message and some negative suggestions about Dave, Marco and Bob - three standup guys who help CTD owners every day? Sheesh - get a life.

I can't wipe this stupid smile off my face now!! I LOVE this thing!! Last night, I loaded L9 to see what it feels like. HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!! This thing was rolling coal like I've never seen before, and pinned me in the seat !! Tires broke loose from a 30 mph roll in 2nd gear!! :--) That is until my tq verter started protesting (it felt like it was slipping, started shaking a few seconds after I stomped on it :-laf ) So, for now, I'll leave it on L3 until I upgrade the trans. Marco, Bob, YOU 2 ROCK!! Man, it brought back memories of me driving my '66 Olds 4-4-2!!
