Hi all, Will the smarty I bought for my 2000 work on a friends 2001? If so can you give me step by step instructions on how to install the high idel on his 2001, Today it was 0 degrees and mine ramped up and went to 3 cylinders and his ran for 15 minuets and never got above idel Thank's Don

load in any smarty software into your friends truck. And then return your friends truck back to stock.



The high idle software is now enabled.

Along those same lines, can I do the same to dad's '03 or doesn't the high idle work on '03's.

The 2003 does not have the adjustable high idle like the others. sorry

That is correct Don or you will get a "vin locked" error message. Thanks
