I'm going to download the revo and want to know what would be the best settings for TQ Managment,Timing, and Rail Pressure. I tow about 10-15k. I'm not looking for a lot of extra power, just safe and ECONOMCAL power. I currently run on the stock TQ. managment SW#1. It does fine but lots of smoke and timing rattle. Thanks, and sorry for another smarty question.

It's available. I have been running it.

It's smoky on most levels. I just bought a TST and I'm going to try towing with it and see if my trailer stays a bit cleaner.

I tow daily and I set my Smarty to stock rail pressure, stock torque management, timing at 4 and original settings of level 1. Minimal smoke that way, and plenty of power for reasonable towing. I tried the other torque management settings and got noticeably more smoke. And you probably don't need a more aggressive throttle response towing anyway. With these settings I no longer blacken the right side of the trailers I tow...

Mario, what is your MPGs and EGTs with those settings? With my setup, I get between 10. 8 and 11. 2 mpg when towing and the truck runs great. Max EGT is 1200F.

I have been comtemplating running the Smarty on those settings (to improve MPG and maybe EGT), but don't want to push my transmission over the edge (I have injectors... )

For those with smoke problems, when I first got my injectors, I noticed a alot of haze when towing hard (with an aFe PG-5 filter and ram air holes in the stock box) which didn't happen when it was stock. The CFM+ intake manifold and the PSM cold air kit really have helped. I can't get it to smoke at all even when towing very, very hard.

I ran these exact settings a couple of days ago but noticed much more clatter with the timing on #4 and the #1 30 hp setting. The truck seemed to run very well, I was just unsure of how much the timing was advanced with those two setting combined. Anyone know what the advance level is? Bob?

I am running setting 1 now with stock torque management.
