Smarty S06 convert to S06 PoD and UDC

Do I need to return my truck to stock before updating the Smarty S06 to the new S06 PoD and then to PoD UDC ??



Right now I have the 16FEB2012 update (non PoD) in my Smarty and the truck is set to SW3.



Just curious if I should go back to stock before updating the Smarty and then updating the truck...

I ALWAYS have taken the truck back to stock before doing Smarty updates. I don't expect problems, but I try to minimize the chances of a bad situation where I mess up the Smarty and can't use it. I am an OCD worry wart though!

Me too... I did program it back to stock before updating to PoD and the latest software (UDC). I used TQ2, TM4 (because of my aftermarket injectors), RP1 and SW3.
