Source for JIC fittings and push lock hose?

Peterbilt...

I always figured a good rule of thumb for any given HP increase, the torque would at least double.

Nick

Per MAD'S advertisement in the past the torque would always double over the HP setting in any CaTCHER level. They would also down grade the real HP setting in any Catcher Level as an example if the advertise HP setting is 90 HP the real HP setting could be as high as 96HP, so too would the torque numbers would be down graded from 192 lb-ft to 180 lb-ft.

Now I have a some question for you? Are you going to tow with that HP increase? Do you have a boost gage? Do you have head studs? Has the EGR cooler been deleted?

Per MAD's information that I saved, when I installed my latest update back in 2011. The safest level for a 68RFE was CaTCHER Level 3 which increase the stock HP setting to 60 HP over stock anything higher in HP/TQ rating may damage the automatic transmission. The safest level for the manual transmission was CaTCHER Level 5 and this was 90 HP over stock.

I can send a scan copy of my information if needed to you in a PM if you like.

Good Luck,
Jim

It depends on what rpm that hp gain is at, but likely around double as others have mentioned.

1 hp increase at 2,626 rpms is 2 lb/ft increase.
1 hp increase at 1,600 rpms is a 3.3 lb/ft increase.
1 hp increase at 3,000 rpms is a 1.8 lb/ft increase.

The 130 hp increase is likely to be closer to 3,000 rpms than 1,600.
